Deep freezer.?

Question:Can you get more freon (may be spelled wrong) put into a deep freezer chest? If so where do you get it and how much does it cost? Can you buy it and do it yourself or do you have to have it professionally done?

Answers:
You need to have a professional do that. They are licensed for such things.
Yes,you can have the freon replaced but sometimes it's more economical to buy a new freezer by the time you pay for it and a repairman.Their rates are usually pretty high just to walk in your door and check the freezer out without doing any fixing.

"A refrigerant leak can cause a freezer to fail to get cold enough; however, leaks are very uncommon. Also, unlike some automobile air conditioners, it is never necessary to "top off" the refrigerant. The refrigeration system is a closed system and the addition of refrigerant is rarely called for."

I'd just call a refigerator repairman. Its actually Refrigerant that'd you'd need-if im not mistaken, and that stuff is toxic. Good luck!
A leak is the only reason to have refrigerant checked or added. This needs to be done by a licenced tech. Call an appliance repair store to have it checked out.
IT HAS TO BE DONE PROFESSIONALLY, YOU HAVE TO HAVE SPECIAL FREON AND GAUGES
