Get rid of old couch and entertainment center?

Question:Any idea what the best way to unload this stuff is? This stuff still has value, I just don't need it. Anywhere to give it away for free where I won't be charged? I called 1-800-got-junk and they want like $400 to come get it!

Yes--Goodwill Industries, Salvation Army, Veterans groups, Homeless shelters, women's shelters or abuse centers, any charity organization will come and get it. Or, go to Yahoo groups and click on freecycle.com for your local county or town. It's a give and get free stuff site.
