How do you beat the heat?
Question:Its scorching at my house and I have no pool and no pond around close enought to walk to and my dad is working. How can I beat the heat?
Answers:
Place a bowl of ice in front of a fan, once the ice starts melting it will blow cool air. Keep all your blinds and curtains closed during the day.
stay INSIDE!!
Soak in a cool water bath or suck on ice cubes
wear thin cloths that still cover up. and stay inside with the air conditioner
Put your swimsuit on, stay inside and find a great movie you hadn't seen in a long time.
Well, if you can't go outside fill the bathtub up with really cold water put your bathing suit on and hang out in their. If you can go outside set up some sprinklers or invite some friends and neighbors over for the day to play some of these water games:
1) Make 2 teams with a chair about 5 yds away. Have a bucket filed with water balloons in the middle of the 2 teams. On go the 1st person in line on each teams grabs a water balloon and runs to the chair, sits on the balloon, and pops it. If while they are running it breaks or it rolls off the chair and breaks you have to run back and get another balloon. Each person on the team has to go 1 time.
2) Same as the first game except each team gets a sponge insted of water balloons and put a small bucket under each chair (make sure the buckets are the person takes their sponge and dunks it into the bucket same). There is a bucket filled with water in between them. On go the 1st person dips he sponge into the water. Then runs to the chair and sits on the sponge. The water will go through the chair into the bucket. Then they give it to the next person and keep going doing the same thing until one teams bucket is filled.
3) Water balloon toss.
4) Water fight!
BUY A "MISTER" FROM A HOME IMPROVEMENT STORE. It hooks to your hose and gives out a slight mist. It decreases the temp by ten or more degrees. It is awsome!
