Firewood. co2 emmissions??

Question:hi i have a lot of fire starters(small wood for starting fires) i would like to know a reasonable price to sell a 15kg bag. also is there any c02 emmissions from burning it and if so what is it in comparison to coal.

Answers:
Hello,

(ANS) If you have a large amount of fire kindling (dry wood for starting small fires) then I don't think you can charge people very much per bag. Especially if you want to shift all of it?

**I would think no more than £4 or £5 per back maximum.

**I've recently just cut back a large Hornbeam tree in my front garden, I had 25 large bags of kindling from this (I gave away 17bags to friends for free) but if I had attempted to sell the stuff, I couldn't have asked more than the above.

**YES! wood fires do produce some CO2 its impossible to escape that fact. wood fires produce carbon but its on a par with coal as far as I am aware.

dude ur not setting a forest on fire a little CO2 never hurt anyone but alot can kill you. remember all things in moderation. dont use coal its not a good fire starter. And a wood fire is just the best. Coal has more CO2 but it burns slower
