What kind of tree is this?

Question:I live in Pa, it's leave look like hearts, it gets little pink flowers in the spring which have now turned to red/brown colored pod looking thinks that look like unshelled peas?

Answers:
I'd guess a redbud...

I dont know ,but it sounds to me like a locust tree.
Sounds like it could be a bleeding heart, but those are usually plants not a tree. I dont know if they grow as trees or not. Bleeding hearts usually have heart shaped pink or red flowers that grow off of the branch/vines.
It's an Indian Bean Tree (Catalpa) my neighbor has a life size Bonsia'd version in her front yard. I thought that description sounded familiar.
It sounds like a Redbud-Catalpa doesn't have pink flowers
