Stupid question... when garbage men pick up your trash...?

Question:do they use the same truck througout their entire route? I mean, how can they possiby fit so much trash into that truck? I know they compact it, but they can't possibly use one truck for the whole route. Do they go back to the plant and empty?

Answers:
They go to the dump and empty the truck when it is full. Compacting helps make more room in the truck but if it is a large route, it still fills up.

I think they use just one truck, I think the compactor is much more powerful than u may think...
i think they need to go back to empty the truck. as the previous person said the compactor is pretty good. i just threw out a big couch and love seat and they crushed them i understand.
They go to the dump and empty the truck.
inside each truck is an interdimensional porthole. when the "garbagemen" collects the "trash" they then activate the porthole by"compacting" the "trash" "quote" "unquote"
yes, they go to the dump and empty it when it gets full.
They do have a fleet of trucks though and mentally determine how much the need for emptying is, for instance here on my street (apartment complex) they come here twice a week. If, by chance it were like Christmas and there was lots of stuff they would empty it and return.
