Fly problem?
Question:Help ! I have 5 kittens and 1 cat using my flowerbed for their 'bathroom' and the flies are getting out of control. Anyone know a pet safe way to kill the flies other than a fly swat?

You need to cure the cause, not the results. Having fecal matter will always draw flies. Sprinkle some cayanne pepper or chili powder in the flowerbed. Pinecones work also. The cats will find another place to relieve themselves.
Hardware stores like Orchard Supply have a fly trap. You open it & add water. After about 3 days it reeks but catches flys great. Once they enter in, they cannot get out.
We are having major fly trouble in North Louisiana.
Walmart sells a fly trap called Sterling Rescue Fly Trap. It has been a miracel worker here. You fill it with water and it attracts the flies then when they get in they can't get out.
