Why does a kettle?

Question:Why does a kettle get louder and louder as it gets hotter and hotter, and then right as you turn off the stove it gets quiet right away?

Answers:
You are removing the heat source that is boiling the liquid inside. It instantly starts cooling off. You must have a gas stove because this doesn't happen that quick with electric.

because the removal of the heat source stops superheating the water, and the water immediately begins the cooling off process
