What colour tiles should i get for my house?
Question:the walls will be white all over the house, the kitchen benchtop will be black/cupboards white, and in the bathroom's there will be black floor tiles and whitewall tiles,what colour floor tiles for the main living areas should i use black or white?
the carpet in other rooms will be dark colour either charcoal or dark brown

in the main living areas you should get white but if you have kids you may want to get black just in case they spill anything.
The other day my 9 month old baby threw up over the carpet thank goodness because we also have black tile

How about black and white tiles in a checker board pattern.
I would recommend gray tiles or textured tiles with more than one color (black white gray) Maybe granite...

It depends on what you are going for. White is very cozy, inviting, homey. Black would be more sophisticated, classy, deep. I myself would pick a color that pops out amongst all the white, black, and grays, like red with charcoal grout, Or a Goldenrod, mustardy yellow with black grout.
