Question regarding a Whirlpool Conquest refridgerator?

Question:In the freezer, but the on/off switch for the ice maker is a red light that is blinking. What does that mean? I haven't noticed it before. The ice maker had quit working, and we had a repair guy out today. The ice tray is filled up with water so it seems as if it will work. The ice bin is empty but that is because we emptied it out before it was fixed.

Red light is telling you that the bin is full. Why didn't the repair guy tell you?
