How doi get rid of pesky little roaches?
Question:i moved into a rental and it has little roaches, i have 2 small children . is there a cost effective way to get rid of them?

First, Combat, either in disk or gel will not help you. Second, boric acid is something that I would never have around kids or pets! It is extremely harmful. Next, Demon WP is not labeled to be used in kitchens and that is where I am sure you are seeing your biggest problem.
The best thing to do is to call your landlord and see if he is willing to hire and exterminator. Many times if you are dealing with a decent person, they will. If not, you should hire someone yourself. I recommend going with a smaller company. The reason for this, is most of the little "mom and pop" companies are owner operated. Therefore, the person coming out is state licensed and more experienced (as a general rule) than those techs who work for the big guys. They also work harder to make you happy.

You can go to a wal-mart or hardware store and buy a paste made by combat. It's a tube with this stuff that looks like peanut butter. Anyways you find the source of your roaches (usually where you see them the most their close by) and starting putting a little line of this stuff in various places. like in the hinges or cracks & crevices places where kids can't go and within a few days you will see a decrease..This stuff is like $10 and is called combat roach bait.
I agree with the gentelman who said to get Combat. I've never used the kind he refers to but have used Combat that is in little plastic disc that you place under your refrigators and stoves and such. It has something in it that kills the eggs plus the roach. Works great!
yuck, baby's turn in to big ones. Try whole bay leaves around place, and put boric acid in cabins under sink. Tell land lord to spray them. While ur out. I've heard of headge apples cut in halfs put under furniture works. Don't collect pop cans or beer it draws them like crazy. good luck
Ask your landlord to have the home sprayed or go to a do it yourself pest control and get a product called "DEMON7", it is the same thing the bug man uses. Good luck.
