Should I be concerned if I see one or two carpenter ants outside my house when its sunny?

Question:

Answers:
Are you sure they're carpenter ants, and not just a common "garden variety"?

nah. just put the little ant poison thingies in random places around the house. you'll be fine. it worked for me.
Not really. Just keep an eye on things. And if you see a lot, put dish soap (dish detergent) in all the cracks and wherever you see them - it will kill them off, and it won't hurt any kids or pets that are outside. I've been doing this for awhile, and it works! (Make sure you use a good amount though and get it right in where they live)
My husband puts diazanon pellets next to the foundation the entire perimeter of the house. We haven't had anymore ants or wolf spiders...
