Does anyone know if it is normal to ave to reprogram your irrigation systems at the start of each season?

Question:For instance, should you have to reset timers on an irrigation system after winterizing it, and turning it back on for spring if it has batteries?

Answers:
it depends on your timer, most newer ones have some back up in it or batteries to back it up. Also the person who did the winterizing may have reprogrammed it to do the blow out. so it is always a good idea to check it out each year to be sure.

It must be getting unplugged, the batteries are shot or you've had the power go out over the winter. It should maintain what's stored in it. See if you can find the manual that goes with it or look on line at the manufactures web site. Most everything is posted on line these days.
The power must have gone out at your house. The system should hold the settings unless power is lost.
