Please tell me a fast and easy way to store plastic bags?
Question:Nedd to store about 5000! ( i like grocery shopping :) )
Answers:
These are two quick and free ways I usually do to store the plastic bags after big shopping.
Don't throw away the Kleenex (tissue) box after use. You can keep small amount of plastic bags inside and simply put it somewhere convenient in the kitchen. I even keep one box in my car trunk since you never know when the kids get really messy after play date. This is quite handy to have plastic bags whenever I need and it doesn't look messy.
For large amount of bags, I would choose one of the bigger size plastic bag to keep the rest of plastic bags in. I put it at the bottom of the pantry/cabinet. You can even put things on it or squeeze it to shape if you need more space. Since you have such a quantity of plastic bags, I would suggest you to keep them at the attic. It is good insulation.
The grocery store in my town offers discount if you bring your own plastic bag. To minimize the plastic bag collection is also another way to deal with it, especially if it has extra incentive to your act.
You can get a plastic bag holder.
You can get them in a range of materials.
They look like the shape of a sweet in a wraper, where there is two elastic parts at each end which allows you to pack quite a lot in without them falling out. It basically looks like a mint humbug when the bags are in it. You can get them from places like IKEA or poundstretchers or some other shops like that.
Hope this helps :]
