The same way you get rid of chipmunks...
Go online or to a specialty feed and seed store (i.e. Tractor Supply, etc.) and get this liquid stuff in a bottle made out of fox urine that WREAKS like hell at first but then dries into the wood in your attic or surrounding yard.
The smell scares the crap out of the chipmunks and numerous other rodents because they think a fox is prowling around somewhere.
Its sort of pricy but WORKS GREAT!
If you have chipmunks set up mouse traps, they work just as well. If you think their cute, well do it the humane way, set a trap the doesn't kill, release it to the nearest forest... if it comes back the only choice is to kill.
Two words: Car tire.
adopt a predator (or deterrent) of said 'munks. they will pack their bags and leave if they are lucky. or digest if they are not
predators include cats, terriers, raptors, barn owls, foxes, coyotes, snakes...
deterrents are poisons, mothballs, sonic devices...
