Watermelon rind got flushed down toilet, help?

Question:It wasn't that big of a piece but my 1 year old flushed a piece of watermelon rind down the toilet. My wife is out of town on a business trip and I don't know what to do anyone have any suggestions? I flushed the toilet and it went down I just don't know if toilet paper could get backed up.

flush some TP and see what happens. If it starts to back up use a plunger. If you really want to error on the side of caution go rent a snake (Most rental places have them) and run it down the toilet.
