How to clean dirty and dull pennies?
Question:What kind of vinegar makes dirty pennies clean and shiny?
Answers:
white. then rinse them off in a combination of water with a little baking soda to neutralize the acid from the vinegar.
then do a final rinse with plain water. place on paper towels. allow to dry . then pat them the rest of the way to get them good and dry
why do you need to clean them? it's a penny! use CLR, or regular vinegar, but i'm not sure it's strong enough.
try putting them in the silverware holder in your dishwasher. Make sure they can't fall thru. Maybe wrap in small washcloth and run thru dishwasher cycle.
