I'm in Quebec and am looking to buy these appliances soon. Please tell me a good brand and a store from where I can buy.

I am partial to the Frigidaire brand. We bought our washer and dryer set brand new this past November. I have been very impressed with their performance. They are commercial duty and I can't say enough...they are also loaded with amenities. We rent our home and the refrigerator and stove were with the house...but if I had to buy them...I would choose Frigidaire.
Kenmore, from Sears is one of the more reliable brands according to Consumer Reports but most of the major brands are pretty good. Maytag dishwashers are a little better than average. My experience with Amana is worse than averager.
Sears has always been the best and stand behind their products; we have found that the middle one is best from cheapest to middle to best~Whirlpool

I am USA. We bought the same stuff at a REX store, and saved thousands of dollars. We got a Frigidaire side by side ref. with ice and water in the door, for $800.00 Anyway, I got everything I wanted for less than half what a big store brand wanted. And we found that our Roper dishwasher is made by a brand name company. We got it for $199. and it works great.
