What color sheets will complement a gold comforter in a room with maroon carpet?


Question:I recently purchased a gold comforter set, complete with matching gold pillows for my bedroom. However, I have maroon carpet in this room and I'm not sure what color sheets I should get. I want to be kind of creative, so I don't really want to complete the look with gold sheets. Also, I'd like the sheets to be satin; this material may affect how the color is conveyed. Any suggestions?
