How much does it cost to turn on water at a new residence?

Question:

Answers:
Nothing. That was the only utility that did not have a turn on fee or deposit to activate. I simply called with the date for turn on, established an account and furnished the information they required.

That depends on your municipality. They may require a deposit. Some do and some don't. Check with your local water supplier.
In most cases you don't have to pay to turn it on, you just have to pay for the amount used (sometimes monthly, in many cases quarterly). This varies, of course, in different cities.
