Getting rid of spiders?
Question:i have a bit of a problem with spiders living in my bedroom. every few weeks i notice a large web down the side of one of my cupboards and a large spider sitting in the middle. i chuck 'em out the window but they keep coming back! is there anything natural that i can put down there to stop them coming back? many thanks
Answers:
Put conkers (horse chestnuts) or chestnut oil around the room. Spiders don't like either.
A snake
suck them up the hover thats what i would do
Glad to hear you are kind enough not to squash them.
Make friends with it, then when you have gained it's trust it will write your name in it's web. Something like 'Shady is Cool'.
That'd be great, wouldn't it.
:)
I recommend getting lots of waps, as they stingify teh spiders and make tehm die. Then you need something to eat the wasps, i recommend getting really big birds to eat the remaining spiders and then the wasps. sorted,.
I'm glad you came to look on the web =P
how about lizard
Call an exterminator who gets rid of spiders.
Try to keep these places dust-free and do what contributor MEASIAM told you. It might work!
learn to love them, you could always look for their egg sacks and get rid of them too.
Make sure that your doors and windows are "weatherproof" and have screens. It will also save you money when you have to heat or cool your house.
Thank you for not killing it.
When my fat, tabby cat (known as "Tabby Bunter, spider hunter") doesn't beat me to it, I collect them in the small plastic pots from the old 35mm films (never throw things away in oour house), put them in my pocket and when we are at least 2 miles away from the house - tip them out into a hedge.
Mind you, I could swear that some of them beat us back home!
There is a sonic device available which we use on our little canal boat - plugs into the power socket and we certainly don't have much problem with spiders (what is it with boats and spiders?) unlike many of the people we meet on canals.
Never bothered to use it at home.
As mentioned, chestnut oil is recommended but I've never tried it.
conkers as spiders hate the smell of them.at this rate due to the lack of summer you may be getting them early this year!!
call the ORKIN MAN
conkers
Horse chestnuts (conkers) are supposed to ward off spiders.
there is a website you may find interesting on how to get rid of them. Have a look and see which method suits you the best.
