Portable Haier Air Conditioner?

Question:I have a question regarding the air vent (where cool air comes out). I have the silver/white 7000 btu model and was wondering if air is supposed to be coming out from every direction b/c it's only coming out from the middle and right side in the one I bought. It seems to work just fine, but I don't want it if it's defective!

Since its a very small unit, it must be for a small bedroom. The fan is not very powerful so its probably ok. I would not recommend anything smaller even for a large bedroom I'd go with a 10'000.
