Any tips for cooling down my apartment?

Question:I have an air conditoner but it doesn't seem to be working too well.

Answers:
darkness and fans

Gotta have air flow.when I lived in a apt., I had 2 fans on opposite sides of the apt. one was pulling air in, other was pushing it out. causing current of air flow. worked well for me.
Air conditioners need to work when all windows are closed. If yours isn't working well, perhaps the area it needs to cover is too large to cope. Maybe you should ask Air Conditioner Agent? I can only suggest that perhaps you will need some portable fans as well. Our home gets very stuffy in summer, we have an overhead fan and a floorstanding fan.At least with fans, you can have windows open. You can also buy a free-standing portable air-conditioner; which has fan at front, and cooling tank at back. Hope you find something suitable. Good Luck!
If your a/c filter is clean and the unit is large enough for the apartment. Then may I ask if you have the curtain open?Out side sun lite warms the house.Remember a cave is cooler than a beach.Try closing curtains and using small fans plus ceiling fans to circulate the cool air.Sometimes the unit is not large enough to cool properly, get it checked...
