Are they planted in full sun? You can remove them from the vine and place them in a brown paper bag and allow them to ripen that way. Don't refrigerate tomatoes, they have better flavor if they are not refrigerated.
usually my tomatoes don't ripen on the vine (need a lot of sun and heat).. the season is too short.. i spread out pails of green ones on newspapers in my cool basement and cover with newspaper.. they ripen gradually over a long period (up to 3 months later).. the smaller ones wither or wrinkle as if drying up but the newspapers covering keep moving air from drying the larger ones b4 they ripen.. keep checking every few days and remove the ones that are spoiling or partially ripe as ripe tomatoes emit a gas that will ripen the rest.. heard that an apple kept with them can cause ripening also.. Is it possible that really HOT sun could be cooking them?
Don't feed your plants. Plant early girl varity
You can ripen tomatoes by putting the green fruit into a brown paper bag (like the shopping bags that you use in the states). Don't let them get damp, just keep them out of the light. They will then redden!
Do you not like green tomato chutney?!!
There is a scinetific method of placing a certain hue of red plastic around the bottom of the plant. There are many commercial options to try, that aid in on vine ripening.
it sounds like they are too wet ( to much moisture is getting there and staying there , u may also want to check the type they are like in my area better boys , better girls , marglobe etc are for my zone , ask where u get ur plants . also if they turn a little red u can pick them and put them in a sunny place on ur window sil or banister on u r deck they will finish ripening
