Will gas heaters kill my plants if I bring them indoors for winter?

Question:

Answers:
I bring my plants in for the winter (and also have gas heat). The only problem I have noticed is that gas heat tends to make the air very dry in my home, so my suggestion would be to mist your plants often, and make sure they get plenty of water and sunshine.

No. I have a gas heater and bring about a dozen plants in every winter. Just keep them in a place where they get about the same amount of light and make sure you water them and they'll be fine. :)

In winter some of my plants stay in the dinning room; which is between the kitchen that has a gas stove and the living room that has a gas heater. And the plants that need it to be a little cooler I put them in an unheated room and where they can get light from the sun during the day. Make sure the room isn't cold enough to freeze your plants. You can get a book that tells you how to take care of your plants [ watering, light, fertilize and temperature]
