Hi, Is it a child-safety lock? I have a GE and to turn off/on the safety lock just hold in the "Heated Dry" button for a few seconds and you should hear a beep. That should do it for you hopefully! :)

on my whirlpool dishwasher you have to press and hold the air dry button for five seconds to enable/disable the safety lock
