What day do you put your wheelie bin out?
Question:i have just remembered two of my bins have to go out tonight and its raining cats and dogs.

Thursday night as they arrive first thing friday morning.
Same as you. Put the rubbish out Tuesday evening . The lorry is round about 7.30 on Wednesday morning. Already done mine between the showers.
We don't have wheely bins. Black sacks still for us, and they were taken away this morning

Black one fortnightly on a Monday, and the green and brown on the other alternate Monday.
I still have bin bags and they go out on Wednesday!

Mine get collected wednesday , but is out now cause thay come early , get your partner to put them out that way you wont get wet lol
You are lucky to have a wheelie bin. We are not so advanced here near Heathrow. We have to put our things in black or white plastic bags on Wednesday nights to be collected at about 6am on Thursday.
Tuesdays...also the yard waste in large paper bags. Re-cycle goes out every-other Tuesday.
Wish we had wheelie bins, tonight. our black bags go out , and the cats and foxes will have the time of their lives

Problem is not getting them emptied, its getting them back. The bin men seem to think their job is over once the bin has been emptied. They leave our bins in the next road for us to collect.This is an ongoing battle since the recycling scheme started. Wish us luck

On wednesdays well my hubbie does I can't be bothered.
