Which is the better course to go on the 2330 city and guilds level 2 electrical installation or the Btec first
Question:diploma in electronics.
i want to be an electrician and don't know which course is the right one to go for.

Just do the 2330 then. Its more practical than electronics. Im doing it and its covers a wide range of electrics. Its all you need to be a normal electrician.
Ive done both, not easy!
They are both quite differnt from each other electroncs is circuitry and wiring were as the c&g is all about making wiring rigs.
If you are new to the subject I would subject the instalation, In electronics there is alot of understanding that goes with it (forulars, wiring diamgrams etc)but if you know someone who is going on one of the course it realy helps to pair up with someone and help each other out.
