Answers:
Cost is rarely a problem at the Salvation Army Store.
yea, but it aint most important. Get real wood.
no the look and the quality are much more important .as they tend to last for ever right ?
why, yes it does. do you want it to last for years or is it just for now? a cherry, maple or oak table, taken care of will last a long time and cost around 800. to 1000. with 4 chairs.
It sure does help LOL
But i think i would rather get one that costs more than usual because then you wold no it would last and bea good table.
Hope ive helped..

of course if i cant pay for it...me wanting it doesn't mean jack ****...so its definently up there.
it is where you meet daily with your loved ones, friends, family, guests, to share something worked hard to make or buy. yeah, spend the dough. make it a nice place to be. comfortable, handsome and neutral enough to last.
i bought a low Korean dining table to eat in front of the telly and the shop man said I shouldn't be buying my own dining table. it should be a wedding gift ;-D
Quality concerns me more than cost. When we bought ours we went with solid wood so that it would last us forever and gain in value rather than having to replace a substandard piece of furniture within a couple of years.
Yes! I want something that is made well, but I also know that within several years my taste will change and I will want something else. I know that re sell value will decrease and popularity of my set will also decrease as the years pass. Not to mention any damage from use. Unless you keep it in perfect condition for 100 years you cannot expect to gain any profit by selling.
Cost matters to me regardless of what I buy.
Make sure that if you buy a dining table that it comes with 4-6 matching chairs too.
