Answers:
Yep those are scary. They can inject venom through fang like things on their heads. Be careful with them.

I would go with some good 'ole Cy Kick CS. Get the aerosol and spray the door ways.

You can also use the Cy-Kick concentrate around the exterior of your home.

You may also want to put down some Delta Dust or Boric in your void areas, like under the dish washer, under the frig, in the crawl space (if you have one).

I was getting those things in my house for a while. I would use pesticide in all the usual places but they would come back. Then late one night i was watching TV and one fell from the ceiling. I then realized that they were in the duct work. I started removing the vents and spraying in there twice a year ans haven't seen one since.
Do you have any piles of dead wood or leaves near your home, like firewood or decaying brush? That might be the source of the problem. Centipedes live in thses damp environments. Otherwise, they might be attracted to other bugs living in your home - roaches, spiders, etc?

Try cleaning any possible areas the centipedes might want to live in your house. Then try some pesticides or Borax. If you have kids, you might want to clear out and leave it to professionals while your family is out.
