House sitting?
Question:A coworker asked me to house sit his house for 9 days, up in scottsdale arizona, and i live and work about 45 minutes away, how much should i charge, they want to give me 100 but a lot of ppl think its too cheap cause of how expenisve the gas is and for my expenses on food and all? Thanks

Charge $.60/mile + your daily rate. I am not sure why people need housesitters for that short period of time. Petsitters will check on the animals for $20 a day or so. Sounds like an inconvenience and pretty rude of them to ask you unless they know you need the cash.
Well if you have to travel aditional miles to work, add gas allowance, but your food was your responsibility to beginn with, You can't ask extra money for food...add the extra gas money, and give him a number. But he gives you $100 for 9 days or daily? Daily I would except.
