First time shopping for new apartment?
Question:I am 21 years old, and I'll be getting a new apt. soon. What should I get on the first trip? Should I shop for the bigger items first like furniture, then kitchen items, etc?

only buy what you need at first, because moving is expensive. Go to local second hand stores and garage sales to get alot of your furniture. Then I'd say ask friends and family if they're willing to give you stuff. Lastly goto stores like Ikea where you can buy alot for less. Don't go to Target, it sounds cheap at first, but for what you get it will be expensive.
Make sure you have some basic kitchen and bathroom stuff, as well as a bed. You can take your time picking out the rest. I like to look around for what I really like on the big items, rather than buying something just because it's convenient.
