What types of inexpensive plants would survive well in a low lit office cubicle (sunlight from nearby window)?

Question:

If you want to add color I would try some: African Violets(Violets must have 10 to 14 (16 is max) hours of bright light per day but no direct sun use a plastic or ceramic pot, and keep it moist as well.) A Miniature Rose(water daily, give it lots of sun), Peace Lily(water a peace lily thoroughly and then let the soil at the top dry out to the touch ), Gerbera Daisy(these flowers take out harmful toxins out of the air, they prefer well drained moist soil, and love sunlight, they also come in many colors too.) If you just want greenery try these as well :Angelwing Begonia, Hoya Swedish Ivy, Wandering Jew, Purple Passion Plant, Coleus, Gardenia,
All of the plants on this list flowering or non can be found at your local greenhouse or retail store in their indoor lawn and gardening shop. Mix it up a little and maybe make your own planter with a flower and some greenery to make it more personal. Enjoy and have fun. Good luck:)

Peace lilies, ferns (but must be misted and watered almost daily), any type of vining plants. Ask your local gardening center what will work well.
Something in the ivy family would do well. (English, Swedish, etc.) Porthos is a great plant also. It's green & very leafy, & cascades, as do the ivies. Just keep the soil damp & they should do well. :)
Pothos is a very hearth indoor plant.
A snake plant, also called "mother-in-law's tongue," is a good low light plant. I have a brown thumb, but I kept one of these alive for over 10 years (gave it away when moving). It even bloomed a few times. They don't need much care and they're vertical, so don't need much space either.
