Does anyone have any good idea on how to keep...?
Question:Like old letters from friends, birthday cards. that type of stuff. I'm in the process of packing for a move and I really want to keep a lot of that kind of stuff. (and I'm truly not a pack-rat.. I only want to keep the sentimental stuff) I know there is really no reason to keep it if it will just be packed away forever. Does anyone have any good ideas?

Call me sentimental, but I keep cards, ticket stubs, programs from concerts, etc. I made a memory box in which to keep them all. I used a sturdy box that I decorated with other memorabila, broken jewelry pieces, wrapping paper and cards. I also have a purchased decorator box that I keep all of my beloved Siberian Husky's belongings, like his scarf, collar, certificates, pictures, etc. and call it his memory box. I leave it out in the family room where he loved to lay and that way I can go through it whenever I miss him. That kind of stuff always looks neat and tidy when it is kept in a beautiful box. RIP Boo
Like eskie lover I use a photograph box. You can purchse them at any craft store or walmart (almost anywhere carries them) If your not the artsy type, there are alot of photo boxes with really cute/stylish designs that can match whats being stored inside. Oh and yes there is a reason to keep it. Even if you only take the stuff out once every decade, the memories it brings back are priceless.
