What is ur fav flower?
Question:why is it your fav flower?
Answers:
My favorite flower is the violet. It seems so delicate and fragile, but it is so strong and resilient, it even grows under the snow. I love its fragrance, it is tasty in sweets and salads, lovely to sugar coat and top desserts with, nutritious and a stomach sedative. It is beautiful, and self seeds itself right along my garden borders very neatly. I even like the seed pods, they are like perfect little stars when they burst open, like star anise. My middle name is Violet, after my grandma. And it is my birth month flower, too (February).
Oh! If only they had black tulips... I love tulips

Strange but at the moment my fav is the Daphne, really small clusters of flowers but the fragrance is fabulous...smells like spring! I have a big plant right outside my front door, makes me happy when I leave the house and happy when I come home at night.

These flowers are very cute, small and dainty. About 5/6 little white flowers grow on each stem. These flowers flourish in our backyard while most other plants will not (very adaptable, - apparently) although they are small they have an amazing smell to them, like no other, its unexplainable!
These are defiantly my favorite flower!~

Anything that sprouts every year (a perennial), grows well in either sun or shade, dry or wet conditions, resists most insects and plant diseases, looks attractive throughout the growing season and does not require any special treatment during the cold of winter. In other words, does not require any work from me (I'm the laziest "farmer" in the world).
Not sure if you consider hosta a flower, but I do and have planted hostas (the type with green and white mixed) throughout my property, mostly lining sidewalks, driveways and walls. The leaves themselves are the attractive part, although they do have purple flowers for several weeks during the growing season. And it's almost impossible to kill them, even when I transplant them during the growing season.
Anyone have other plants that meet my requirements?
