Growing watercress?

Question:I have an aquarium I'm not using, can I grow it in that?

can it grow in just pebbles, or does it need soil? Would that clog the filters?

Answers:
You can't. Watercress needs FLOWING water.

I wouldn't advise you do that this late in the year, and your not giving much details on what size the plant is or if your starting from scratch. Only cern months in the year can you replant watercress and I would use pepples with a speacial fliter
