Help - Seagull knocking at my door!?

Question:I live in a town where seagulls normally just don't bother me - but today is different. And don't laugh here. I have one who has been pacing back and forth on my balcony and is now tapping at my door and refuses to leave. He just squawked at me and scared me to death. How do I get this bugger to leave?

buy a fake rubber snake... place it buy the door. it will stop coming around immediatley..

well whatever you do, don't feed him, or he'll never leave, and a thousand others will probably show up.

i'd just make sure the trash cans are far from the house, that's got to be what's attracting them. it's not a bad idea to rinse your empty garbage cans out once in a while with lysol or bleach to make sure they don't smell fishy.
