Help! How can I get rid of frogs?
Question:We have at least 20 frogs in our pool each night an they croak from 1am till 7am and I have not gotten any sleep in the past three nights. On top of that they hang out right underneath our bedroom window. We have done everything they told us to do with the pool to raise the ph levels etc...But they will not go away! Is there a spray or powder we can put down around the pool? Is there such thing as a frog exterminator? It is also waking up my 5 an 1 yr old. This is just nuts!! I know frogs are good to keep around for bugs an insects, but when I only get 3-4 hrs of sleep a night, these frogs HAVE to go! I was out there last night at 330am killing those things so I could sleep. Wouldnt you know they were still at it till 7am. And there were even about 6 still hanging out around an in the pool even after they saw their little friends get killed!! Serious answers ONLY please!!

well, i've heard that a salt water spray will burn their feet. spray it all along the concrete around your pool :o) once they don't have the pool for their main attraction, they have no reason to stick around! good luck!
Invest in a pool cover...once they can't have access to the pool..they will find another victim.
Wow you have issues... You should move.
Frog legs are delicious. See this as a gift from the frog gods and eat until they're gone. Tastes like chicken.
Not sure if this can help, but frogs start to croack at dusk and during the night. How about simulating the day with lights in your pool during the night? Put some extra lights in the pool and make it shiny as much as possible. They will think its day...and stop croacking...maybe...I dont know I never tryied it. I dont know maybe it wont work..maybe yes.
Leave the frogs alone, and get those sound machines for your bedroom instead, or keep a fan on to block the noise.
You can also buy cd's that are "white noise", waterfalls, rain, thunderstorms, etc.
I think the frogs win this round.
hey gather them up and have frog legs lol just joking.. i dont know go to lowe's and ask someone there or a nursery ( where they sale flowers and stuff.)
I sympathise with your predicament, but killing is wrong.
Frogs are easy to capture. I would suggest that you pop them in a box and drive them to a new home, somewhere far from your house, but near a pond or lake.
I think they are a bit noisier this time of year as it is their mating season. They should quieten down once their 'courtship' is over.
Best of luck.
