What do I do with my old washer & dryer?

Question:I upgraded, but now I have the old washer & dryer stuck outside. One doesn't work, but the other one did. It's been exposed to weather though. Isn't there a place that'll buy these and refurbish them?

Answers:
go to ww.freecycle.org it is a good place to get rid of all the stuff you Don't Want and Maybe find Something you want/need all for free

Some might haul them away free, call your local trash haulers they have lists of names of people who do that sort of thing
Two words for you: Salvation Army
call Goodwill. They will pick it up and re-sell it at their store.
that old washer and dryer are a great source of scrap metal...that stuff is selling for 2 or 3 cents a pound..so even if they do not work anymore find a charity to take them away...one way or another they can still do someone some good
There are some good responses here already. Another thought is appliance repair shops will usually pick them up if you call and strip them for parts. You could also chrck into seeing if your area has a Freecycle group and list it w/ them. Freecycle.com
some newspapers allow free posts for items under 250 dollars.
Try Craigslist.org
donate them ! or give the one work to somebody who need one and the other one recycle it.
