Can someone suggest tall, easy-care, dramatic houseplant for a niche that receives mid morning sun?

Question:I am thinking maybe something just green and "grassy" or maybe with a bit of red, but all suggestions are appreciated.

Answers:
Go to your local nursery and look up tropical plants. A ficus can grow splendid, a Dracaena has those colors you mentioned, but you could also spot a Caladium with stunning red, whites and greens on the leaves. Palms can look stunning too, you know?

try a rubber tree plant. They are good for the inside of the house and they can be rather dramatic depending upon the type. Some with constant care can grow to be quite tall.

My friends grandmother has one that grew from 4 inches tall and it now touches the ceiling. And they have 12' ceilings. I will say it took about 20 years for that to happen.
