I think Mary meant Malathion, excellent choice and you need to spray regularly because the spray doesn't last more than about a month. Hope this helps ya

mathathion or blk peper.
Go and ask your local shire council.
Personally I use a vacuum. After I finish vacuuming her or them up, I squirt a bit of household insecticide into the vacuum tube and then turn it off. If the spider survives the ride through the vacuum, then the vapors should get her. The bag is then tossed in the trash.Go ahead a seal it if you wish.

Spiders are attracted to dark dusty locations. Keep the area swept up, keep the other insects away..spiders need food and go where they can find it.

Never stick you hand into a dark area that spiders might live, look first and wear gloves. The webs are very distinctive: diffuse and sticky. They don't make nice neat webs..their webs are a mess.

Personally the constant malathion spraying would bother me more. Why expose yourself to such a chemical when simple housekeeping will solve the problem?
