My house plant has been given a glass of COKE..will it DIE?
Question:ive got a house plant and my sister gave it a glass of coke, cos she didnt wanna drink it.will my plant be ok??

no i nfact it will help it , all plants need oxygen, and there alot of that in coke !! try using this on cut flowers ,they live about 50% longer
Nah, i think it'll be ok, main ingrediant is water.
hope so, my hubby gave his lily a pint of lager earlier in the year, it flowered just as well as the one that didn't get any.

Water it really good, so as in flooding it and it will dilute the coke and also run it through let it drip out side or in a tub or sink. You should be fine depending on what plant you have some are sensitive, but I believe it will live.
Typically it will be ok EXCEPT if the houseplant is unusually intolerant to mild acid..
I believe that most of the ingrediants will actually act as fertilizer.. however, Coke has carbonated acid and if I remember correctly small amounts of phosphoric acid..

Depends on the size of the pot, but Coke has nothing that plants need to thrive. How insensitive!
I'd just repot it in good soil, and if you can find it, get a bottle of Superthrive to help it deal with the shock.
yes it'll be fine. my plant has been fed with allsorts, tea, vodka, juice and its thriving!
