Apartment too hot!?

Question:I live in an apartment building with no air conditioning...and it's roasting in here! Any ideas how to keep it cool? It's unbearable!

Answers:
buy an air conditioner that you stick in the window, believe it or not they work pretty well.

If you are 18 or above come live with me...Just kidding, but I bet I got your attention. You can put a window AC unit in your bedroom window.
Buy a cheap fan at your local store
Install window AC or install a ceiling fan, or you could justbuy some cheap fans at garage sales and such and put them everywhere. And turn off ur computer when not in use... it generates heat that fills the room.
I'd get some fan's and not run unnessary things like the computer, or oven which heat up a room, otherwise another option would to be spend your day at a public library or the mall where they have the air on all day.
one solution to feel less heat is to be bare naked.
put a fan in one window blowing in, and on the other side of the house or apartment put a fan in another window blowing out. it should move the air pretty good.
have a fan to draw the air out on the hot side of the room with a window open on the cooler side.. and if it gets really unbearable - sit in a tub of coldish water. One more thing that helps is to soak a piece of paper towel or some other cloth in cold water and wrap it around your neck. I do this when I have to be outside at cook-outs and antique shows.
