MFI adverts?
Question:would you want to buy furniture from a store with a load of arguing chav's in it? Mind you would you buy from MFI anyway?

I don't like the adverts but i have to admit all that shouting certainly got my attention .
My granddaughter who`s not quite two stops in her tracks when the MFI adverts come on
I don't think i have ever bought anything from MFI
They made me turn off tele long time ago. Bad influence on the kids too. Life is good with no telly :-)
And no, i would rather not have MFI furniture.
I dont like the advert i think it is frightening for old age pensioners,its too loud...But yes i have bought from m.f.i in the year 1999..but i must admit it is good qualty..

Yeh! seen the adds, Brilliant! much better than those stupid car adverts or adds that leave you thinking what the Fek was that all about ? As for MFI ...I bought a chest of drawers for our babies bedroom about thirty years ago,
if memory serves it cost around 25 quid ? it was one of those self assembly things you know the type! two small drawers on the top four long drawers below great!
Well it fitted together ok after a bit of banging & tweeking and I stood back to admire my handywork.
Get the babies clothes I shouted to the wife I have finished the unit! yippee! up she comes with the clothes, places them on the bed and I pull out the top large drawer only to watch it drop on the next one ,which then dropped on the next etc,etc,
upon investigation I discovered the drawer rails were far to narrow for the drawers & they were just about hanging on..
we decided to load the drawers anyway and be carefull when opening & closing the drawers,
Which would have been fine if the top drawer plastic rail hadn't broken due to the weight of half a dozen baby cardigans!
The next day I had to purchase a small hand drill a small drill bit, a countersink drill bit, approx 40 chipboard screws. enough ramin (Half inch square hardwood) to make 12 new rails and some wood glue !! and spend half a day repairing a brand new unit..Needless to say I have never purchased furniture from MFI again to this day 30 years later! in fact if anyone asks about MFI then I give them this simple quote which says it all MANGY FURNITURE INCORPORATED!
