Big time scorpion problem.. HELP?
Question:We live close to Austin and with the hot weather here now, we are having a problem with scorpions.. lots of them... how do i get rid of them around the house and in the house..

get a "bug man" to come and service on a regular basis. We did this when we moved into our desert home years ago and after a few months they disappeared and we have not seen any sense.
keep your doors closed
Go to your local hardware store, they make a product, I can't remember the name of it, it comes in powder form specifically for scorpions. Add water, put it in a sprayer and you hit all the openings, cracks between floor and walls, outside etc., and it kills them. I had the same problem and this product worked. Use it on like a Friday, pack your bags and go somewhere fun. Come home Sunday and sweep up the ones that were poisoned. Repeat process. No problem. OR.write the check and call a professional.

Of course get an exterminator...but there are some other things you can do to limit their presence in and around your home.
