What are square-headed screwdrivers called?

Question:I have an old sofa that I need to remove the legs on...but the heads on the screws are literally in the shape of a square (as opposed to a flathead or philips heads). Everywhere I check says they don't carry them...is there a special name that they're called?

Answers:
The name of the screw bit you are looking for is called a "Square Drive Bit". They come in three sizes #1, #2 and #3 with #1 being the smallest.

They are available at McFeeleys
