A question about Fiberglass pools?
Question:We have a rental property where the inground vinyl siding pool is in complete disrepair. We want to bring back the pool in a manner that would last longer and minimize upkeep on it. So we were thinking of putting a fiberglass pool in its place. My questions are, Can the original hole be used? Also, do fiberglass pools go down to 12' in a decline. The former pool went from about 4.5' to a decline of 12'.
**Just a side note...We had an agreement with the former tenants that they would care for the pool. They felt that putting the chemicals in it over the winter and not covering it would be sufficiant. It froze and took down the siding. We live in New England so it was pure stupidty on their part.
Answers:
Yes, fiberglass pools come in all shapes, sizes, and depths and can be put right in the same spot as the old pool. I did it with mine and it worked great.
