How do I clean this?
Question:I have recently purchased a new stove. It is one of the radiant heat/glass top kind and it is white. On the left front under the dials, a yellow/brown discoloration is appearing - like something is steaming up from the oven and leaving a stain. Does anyone know what this is from? How best to clean it?

We have a new one also. There is a special polish cleaner that came with our stove. DO NOT use regular household products; it will damage to your stove top. You can buy the cleaner at Lowe's or Home Depot. I'm sorry, but I do not know the name of it. I am sure that a sales person in the appliances can point you in the right direction. Hope this helps!
you can call the manufacturer. i think something may be wrong there.
If it is a new stove it should still be under warranty. Call the store to find out what is wrong with it. Maybe they can replace it for you.
No offense, but why don't you get in touch with the manufacturer..it should be under warranty if there is a problem...at least they might know what is wrong & how to clean.
google the brand
Cut a lemon in half and use it to clean the dials. It gets right in there. If that does not work, try vinegar.
sounds like grease from the oven vent, try some degreaser or some soft scrub comet on it. good luck
Get some "Greased Lightning". It will remove any type of stain in your kitchen and from your appliances.
Don't be alarmed about the discoloration. It is common and more than likely just from cooking food on the stove or baking in the oven.
btw-- You can buy it at Dollar General or Lowes, Home Depot, etc.
Try using a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser to remove the marks. It will work great. Also, if this keeps recurring, I would also suggest checking out the manufacturer's website or your manual.

get the stove cleaning spray and try it if it works then use it when your cleaning the stove
