It's either a square foot which is 1 foot by 1 foot, Or like in shingles, a square is 3 foot by 3 foot.
Hi, Just like any other square,12"x 12". Or do you mean a Rafters Square? Or a Combination Square? Be more specific, than I could answer better. Bye
I am going to make an assumption that you are reffering to...when they say "3200sq ft" of living space.
This measurement refers to the area...say your living room is 16 X 20 = 320 sq ft...approximent size----would be the width of your house times the length + the same # if you have a second floor..in most cases the the basement isn't counted unless it is finished off as living space...ie family room, bedrooms etc,
garages don't count either as they are not concidered living spaces
Hi! I just just bought and renovated a place and I found this question sooo confusing too! Here's what I found; a square is 100sq feet (10ft by 10ft). Because there's approximately 3.3m in 10ft, a square is also about 10sq metres (but slightly less).
Hope that helps and I haven't confused you more!
