House foundations?

Question:when building a house, which is better
a block foundation
or a poured foundation ?

Answers:
I prefer a poured foundation since it it solid and reinforced with rebar. There are no mortar lines to crack so you eliminate a potential weak spot right away. On the other hand, if you ever need to put a hole through the foundation wall, it's fairly simple to drill through the block, but much more of a chore to drill through solid concrete with steel reinforcement.

A poured foundation.
Cheers
